We are seeking a Social Media Manager to support our clients in establishing, maintaining, and growing an impactful social media presence that generates increased website traffic and consumer engagement. By leveraging the top social media platforms and innovative content tools, the ideal candidate will create and manage content that offers a consistent image, tone, and style to accurately represent the company brand.
This role will lead clients on a journey to establish brand visibility, create global awareness, and increase consumer reach with thoughtfully designed and well-executed social media posts, videos, and related online content.
The Social Media Manager will be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently, think creatively, and contribute fresh new ideas based on trending consumer behavior. This role will also be responsible for identifying up-and-coming social media platforms, while keeping updated on social media trends and the latest in digital technology applications. In addition, they will need to display responsiveness, professionalism, results-oriented commitment, and savvy technology skills.

The position of Social Media Manager is a contracted freelance role, and compensation is commensurate with experience. Premier Innovative Solutions is seeking a long-term fit with the ability to advise on best practices, work autonomously, and be resourceful. This person will reflect the company’s mission and serve as a member of the virtual team, and will be required to attend weekly calls and in-person meetings (if applicable).
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy for clients
Define and measure relevant social media KPIs
Manage and create social media content, including original text, images, photos, videos, and company news
Measure the success of social media campaigns
Stay up to date with social media best practices and technologies
Utilize social media management tools such as Buffer
Monitor SEO, website traffic, and user engagement, and suggest ways to increase content optimization
Collaborate with other client departments as needed to ensure content consistency and relevance, including sales, marketing, and customer service
Work with Project Manager and/or Owners on needs concerning crisis escalation or contract discrepancies
Report to Project Manager for regular check-ins, or as the need arises
2+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist, or in a similar role
Must hold an Associate Degree or higher
1+ year of remote work experience
Demonstrated experience in social media strategy with regard to growing brand awareness and optimizing impressions
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other social media platforms
Superior time management, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
Superior grammar, organization, and written communication skills
Learning client preferences and catering work style accordingly
Ability to refine content strategy based on data metrics and analysis
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
Must be comfortable with audience and buyer persona research
Solid understanding of social media KPIs
Ability to collaborate across a wide range of client departments
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
